Access Information
Gasworks Arts Park is committed to improving access for all people. It is important that our staff are notified of any special access requirements at the time of registration to ensure that necessary arrangements can be made.
[HL] Assistive Listening. A hearing loop system is available for people who are hard of hearing at all conference sessions and most performing arts events.
[ASI] Auslan Sign Interpeting. Auslan is the major sign language used by the Australian Deaf community. Auslan interpreters will be provided for all conference sessions and most performing arts events.
Every effort has been made to ensure that Art of Difference events are accessible for people who use wheelchairs or who have limited mobility.
Gasworks Arts Park is an accessible venue.

Companion Card
Some people with a disability require the assistance of a companion or carer to access venues and events. Gasworks Arts Park offers a second ticket at no cost to people who possess a Companion Card.
Access level rating
The following access level rating may be useful for those with intellectual disabilities:
L1 (Most accessible): Presentations focused on personal experience and concrete situations described in ordinary language
L2 (Intermediate): Presentations start from concrete or real life situations, experiences and scenarios but use these to discuss wider, less concrete themes and conclusions
L3 (Least accessible): Presentations that will use a lot of difficult of abstract ideas and concepts.
