Kath Melbourne has been appointed Festival Producer, while Ross Onley-Zerkel and Narelle Sullivan continue on as Festival Coordinators for the upcoming Art of Difference 2009 Festival / Symposium. All are eager to build on the program's success to make it bigger and better than ever before.

City of Darebin

Artist in Residence Program 2008/2009

The City of Darebin is looking for artists to work with people with disabilities on a site specific installation at the Northcote Town Hall in March 2009. They are also looking for organisations with participants who have disabilities to be involved in the project. It is envisaged that the installation will utilise outdoor and indoors spaces at the Northcote Town Hall including the outside wall as projection space.

Artists from all media are encouraged to apply including multi media, visual arts, performance, music, digital, dance and literary. Collaborations between artists are welcome.

The installation will form part of the City of Darebin’s program for the Art of Difference Festival from March 10 to March 22, 2009.

The total budget for the project is $6,500 which includes artists fees and materials.
