Melbourne Playback Theatre Company
Melbourne Playback performances offer a startling insight into our collective and personal inner worlds. Moving and humorous theatre is created as the actors re-tell the audiences stories through improvisation. The drama is supported by live music created with voice, violin, piano and percussion.
Join them on a journey of power, pathos, drama and delight as your stories take center stage!
Cine Circus
Inspired by the silver screen, this touring production by New Caledonian students aged 14 to 20 is a circus version of grand cinema classics such as Grease, Star Wars and James Bond. Each act is themed to a different film, using tightrope, diabolo, trapeze, juggling, and balance to portray scenes and characters. The young performers have already been to Fiji with their mix of comedy, circus and cinema performance, and are well known throughout the islands of New Caledonia.
