Fringe at Gasworks
Building on many successful years as the southside hub for the Melbourne Fringe Festival, Fringe at Gasworks returns in 2026 with another dynamic program of independent performance and creative exploration.
Running 29 September – 18 October, the precinct will once again come alive with a diverse mix of artists and audiences across our theatres and outdoor spaces. Expect an exciting range of work spanning physical theatre, dance, music, comedy, circus, and family-friendly performances, showcasing both emerging and established voices from across the independent arts scene.
Gasworks has a long history of supporting artists and helping bring bold ideas to the stage. As one of Melbourne Fringe’s most loved independent venues, we’re proud to provide a platform where artists can test new work, connect with audiences, and become part of a vibrant creative community.
Expressions of Interest are open from 19th of March – 16th of April 2026.
