The Scientwits - More Wrong Experiments! Labcoat Learning & Gasworks Arts Park

- Performing Arts Kids Holiday Program

SCIENCE! COMEDY! CHAOS!

After the breakout success of 2022 The Scientwits are back with another hilarious and brand new show! Hop, skip or jump into their disastrous science lab for… ‘MORE Wrong Experiments!’

There will be science, there will be mess and sadly, for poor Scientist Sam absolutely nothing will go to plan thanks to Captain Chaos! This one-of-a-kind, high-energy and interactive sketch comedy show for kids is not to be missed.

Captain Chaos is back as Scientist Sam’s assistant, however without any formal training and an appalling lack of attention to detail, he 'accidentally' derails Sam’s intended science lesson, substituting Scientist Sam’s mundane experiments for bigger, better, messier and far more exciting versions; welcome to MORE Wrong Experiments!

Suitable for ages 4-4,000,000; get ready to be blown away... not literally of course!

The Scientwits bring a new breed of comedy to this year’s Festival; inventive, exploratory and belly laughing fun for the entire family, with sold out Comedy Festival and Fringe seasons in 2022.

Meet the dynamic duo behind the fun:

Sammy Harrison AKA Scientist Sam, science teacher by day, stand-up comedian by night. Best known for his sell-out show at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival: ‘Sammy Harrison: Trail and Error – Couch to 100K’ (with all profits donated to Oxfam Australia).

Alongside John Burgos AKA Captain Chaos, established stand-up comedian, MC and joke writer in the Australian comedy circuit. Best known for his role as The Annoying Devil from Balls of Steel Australia and finalist in FHM magazines national search for ‘Australia’s Funniest Man OR Woman'.
