Women who Play is an unforgettable evening celebrating the magic of female singer-songwriters, starring Greenroom Award nominee Stacey-Louise Camilleri— pianist, singer, and musical director.

Backed by a band of stunning musicians, the evening pays homage to iconic women who’ve left an indelible mark on music history, from the soulful melodies of Carol King to the earth-shaking words of Stevie Nicks and the fierce, raw emotion of Regina Spektor and Katie Noonan. This show is a heartfelt love-letter to these piano-playing songstresses, weaving together their timeless hits with Camilleri’s own unique arrangements.

Women Who Play is a major fundraising event for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) – with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the foundation.

The OCRF is Australia’s largest independent funder of medical ovarian cancer research. They support promising research projects across early detection, treatment, prevention and more.

Ovarian cancer is the most lethal women’s cancer and the most lethal reproductive cancer, due to a five-year survival rate that has barely improved in decades, languishing at under 50 per cent. The disease is chronically underfunded – the federal government commits less than 0.7 per cent of all medical research funding to ovarian cancer research, meaning that community fundraising is essential to ensure research can continue.
