Gasworks Foundation patrons fund
The Gasworks Foundation Patrons Fund exists to fund projects which have a positive, lasting impact on the Gasworks Arts Park site and surrounding community.
Gasworks Foundation Inc. (ABN 19 357 102 369) is a philanthropic entity, set up to receive and manage donations to the Gasworks Arts Park precinct. All donations are fully tax-deductible. The Gasworks Foundation Patrons Fund also accepts donations through pledges payable over a period of three years.
Gasworks Foundation Patrons Fund
The Gasworks Foundation Patrons Fund provides an opportunity for members of the community to support the Gasworks Arts Park precinct. Such support helps fund projects that have a lasting impact on the site; artists’ showcases, public sculptures, special exhibitions and more. Foundation patrons belong to a group of dedicated supporters that are among Gasworks’ closest friends and enjoy special opportunities to engage with the park’s precinct and programs.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation has commissioned prominent sculptures within the park, and the decorative gate adorning the Graham Street entrance to the park designed by Gasworks Resident Artist Benjamin Storch. In addition, they have added to the visual aesthetic of Gasworks Arts Park by helping to improve on-site equipment such as the cafe courtyard umbrellas.
It has supported performing arts such as Gasworks Circus Showdown participants with development opportunities and prizes. Visual art projects that have received Foundation funding include From Nature, Paint Out, and Bay Windows. Without the Foundation’s support such artist opportunities and projects would not be possible.
