Important Update: Concert Relocation to Gasworks Theatre
Due to weather conditions and safety concerns, this concert has been moved indoors to the Gasworks Theatre. You will receive an email from Eventfinda with further information regarding your tickets. If you require any additional assistance, please feel free to email us at frontdesk@gasworks.org.au or give us a call at (03) 8606 4200.
Please check your ticket and have it ready when you’re at the venue. We recommend arriving early to avoid excessive lines at the bar. Once the theatre doors open, please scan your ticket and promptly enter the theatre. Our ushers will assist in directing you to your seat.
Thank you so much, and enjoy the show!
Please note – since the concert is now indoors unfortunately we don’t allow picnics inside the Gasworks Theatre.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you
Ali McGregor is one of this country’s most versatile singers having conquered operatic, cabaret and comedy stages alike. In this hour of song, she draws on all these influences to create unique hybrids with a voice that spans 4 octaves and beyond. Alongside her piano accompanist, she brings a truly individual flavour to some of your most unlikely favourites by artists such as INXS, Radiohead and Salt n Pepa.
She started her career as a principal soprano at Opera Australia and has since developed an impressive portfolio of cabaret work that includes the Artistic Directorship of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and a Variety residency at the Melbourne Comedy Festival for nearly two decades.
About Concerts in The Park
Gasworks Arts Park is excited to present Concerts In The Park—four fresh, open-air events that promise to entertain you with soul-stirring tunes.
We’re bringing affordable, family-friendly events designed to create an unforgettable music experience for Melbourne audiences while celebrating Australia’s rich musical legacy. Picture this: the sun setting, the breeze carrying melodies through the trees, and the park becoming part of the performance. It’s more than just a concert—it’s a sensory celebration. Pack a picnic or snag one with your ticket!, sip on a drink from our bar in the James McCaughey Foyer, and settle into the lush Glade, nestled in the park’s hidden gem at Graham and Foote Street. Under the vast sky, surrounded by nature, you’ll be treated to a night of unforgettable Australian music that feels as open and alive as the landscape itself.
