This program is run by professional artist – Helen Pollard, who holds a Masters of Teaching, Bachelor of Art – Fine Arts and a Masters of Art – Art in Public Places. The program introduces children to a variety of drawing techniques, painting skills, sculptural, pottery and animation processes. She aims to expose participants to a range of fun yet educational exercises that begin to teach them the elements of seeing and translating both on a visual and an expressive level. The students explore exciting materials to create final artworks to be proud of while learning valuable art techniques and learning about art history.
