In Between Silence, where we really exist is an ongoing collection of over 130 intimate personal stories by leading Irish and international writers and artists including:

Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones/The Wire)

Roddy Doyle (Man Booker Prize Winner / The Commitments)

Anne Enright (Man Booker Prize Winner), Paula Meehan (Ireland Professor of Poetry)

Ron Carter (Legendary Jazz Bassist, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock), Marie Howe (New York State Poet)

renowned photographer John Minihan (Samuel Beckett, The Beatles….)

and all who have a story to tell, presented in a unique film format by groundbreaking Irish composer STANO. Both Roddy Doyle and Joseph O’Connor said of their experience recording their stories, that with In Between Silence “STANO has created a new art form”.
