Spatula Carving Workshop with Wedge and Edge

Join Eli Beke of Wedge and Edge and learn the basics of greenwood carving to craft your very own spatula!


In this beginner's workshop, we will start with a billet of timber that we will shape with an axe,
removing larger chips and then refining the shape by making smaller and smaller chips using a Sloyd knife and a hook knife.
 

You will also learn how to coax the spatula from the timber.


By the end of this workshop, you will have your own hand-carved spatula ready to take home and use in the kitchen!
