Join Eli Beke of Wedge and Edge and learn the basics of greenwood carving to craft your very own spatula!

In this beginner’s workshop, we will start with a billet of timber that we will shape with an axe, removing larger chips and then refining the shape by making smaller and smaller chips using a Sloyd knife and a hook knife.

You will also learn how to coax the spatula from the timber.

By the end of this workshop, you will have your own hand-carved spatula ready to take home and use in the kitchen!
