Gasworks Arts Park x Multicultural Arts Victoria: A Special Collaboration for the Final Summer in the Glade!
We are beyond excited to announce that Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) will be curating the music lineup for the grand finale of Summer in the Glade on Friday, March 7, 2025!
As a leading force in championing diverse artistic voices, MAV will bring an extraordinary selection of musicians, celebrating the rich cultural sounds of Melbourne. Expect an electrifying night filled with global rhythms, soulful melodies, and immersive performances, creating a truly unforgettable close to this summer series.
Opening the night is Tèbir – an exceptional R&B/Soul artist known for his dynamic, movement-driven stage presence. His soulful voice and electrifying performance style will set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening.
Also taking the stage is Maracatu Estrela do Mar – a traditional Brazilian percussion ensemble that brings the vibrant rhythms of Maracatu to life through immersive storytelling and powerful drumming. Their energy and spirit will transport audiences straight to the streets of Brazil, filling the park with rhythm, movement, and celebration.

Summer in the Glade is a series of free summer cultural experiences at The Glade of Gasworks Arts Park, where you can find arts & crafts makers, live music, and gourmet exploration. One Friday a month from November to March!
Summer in the Glade 2nd season is already here, and we are so excited about what is coming. The 2024/25 program is full of diversity and creative proposals from different backgrounds and styles.
This event is supported by Palais Theatre – A Live Nation Managed Venue, and the City of Port Phillip – Locals playing Locals
