Gasworks outdoor painting event is back to celebrate the coming of Summer!

Paint or sketch over four hectares of parkland including the fabulous new playground area. Choose a site in the park that inspires you to create artwork based on what you see or what you feel. This is an En Plein Air (painting in the fresh air) event for professional & amateur artists, arty people and nature lovers.

Each painting session is 3 hours long and when the time is up your completed artwork will be hung in the James McCaughey Foyer Gallery in a group exhibition until January 12, so visitors can enjoy your creations.

Prizes
All artworks in the exhibition will be eligible to win one of four $1000 prizes; tailored to give amateur artists as well as professionals a fair chance of winning one of them.
